‘Nottinghamshire: My Life in Light’
A new exhibition of my Nottinghamshire images is now open til November at Nottingham Central Library.
This major new exhibition of my landscape work features images that I have captured in Nottinghamshire over a period of almost 20 years. The impressive exhibition space at the new central library boasts almost 40 metres of wall space and there are 65 images on display, including two printed at 3.6 metres wide, and they look amazing!
I have shared both my personal favourites as well as those that I am best known for, together with a selection from my recent more abstract photography project ‘Say it’s Nottingham without saying it’s Nottingham’. I’m also very excited to have shared the stories behind the images, something that I rarely do when I post them on social media. How and why they were captured, why I love them and the technical details from the camera.
You will be able to visit the exhibition until November 2025 on any day during normal library opening hours and further details on that can be found by clicking here - Nottingham Central Library.
There are two exhibition talks now on sale in the website shop here for July and September and I plan to be available to show people around at various dates throughout the year. I’ll advertise those both here and on my social media channels. You can find my social media pages by clicking the links here - Facebook, X, Instagram, and Threads - so why not give me a follow so that you can keep up to date on what’s happening.
All of the images in the exhibition are available to purchase as prints and I have also produced a 2026 Calendar based around the images on display. These can be found and purchased here once the exhibition is open.
For more information about the exhibition, to receive a copy of the press release, or if you have any questions, you can get in touch either via the contact page on the website or via email at tracey@whitefootphotography.com.
